Netflix still hasn’t quite cracked the formula for late-night, but like Chelsea before him, Bill Nye will keep at it. The science-minded Bill Nye Saves the World will continue educating Netflix subscribers and fighting trolls with a Season 2 renewal.

Following an April premiere, Netflix confirms that the new series from TV science icon Bill Nye will return for Season 2 later this year. The announcement teaser above cleverly takes on the breadth of Twitter backlash created by the series, while Nye himself acknowledged the work is not yet finished:

Saving the world turns out to be a big, complicated task, so we’re coming back for Season 2. We want people to view issues in our society through the lens of science and to be inspired and informed about the role it plays in our everyday lives.

The series aims to “tackle a topic from a scientific point of view, dispelling myths, and refuting anti-scientific claims that may be espoused by politicians, religious leaders or titans of industry.” Nye’s crew of correspondents include MIT-trained engineer Emily Calandrelli, comedians Joanna Hausmann and Nazeem Hussain, model Karlie Kloss, science communicator and Veritasium creator Derek Muller.

You can check out all episodes of Bill Nye Saves the World on Netflix, and stay tuned for more on Season 2.
