Netflix’s BoJack Horseman flew in (okay, ran in) under the radar last year, hiding one of the most layered and subversive comedies this side of Arrested Development behind a star-studded cast, and now has a brand-new attitude to debut in Season 2. The first full promo for BoJack Horseman’s 2015 run has arrived, bringing out plenty of new stars to boot.

In addition to its regular roles of BoJack (Will Arnett), Diane (Alison Brie), Todd (Aaron Paul), Mr. Peanut Butter (Paul F. Thompkins) and Princess Carolyn (Amy Sedaris), our first look at BoJack Horseman Season 2 reveals Lisa Kudrow in a guest role as BoJack’s new love interest Wanda Pierce.

Premiering all episodes on July 17, BoJack Horseman Season 2's Netflix synopsis reads thusly:

Will Arnett voices BoJack, the legendary 90's sitcom star, who has been trying to find his way through a muddle of self-loathing, whisky and failed relationships. Now starring in his dream movie (a biopic of Secretariat), but humbled by the events of last season, BoJack attempts to use his career second wind as a stepladder to a springboard to becoming a newer, better BoJack.

But new challenges on set and in his personal life, and the demons of his past make it difficult to shake off the skin of his previous self. If season one of BoJack Horseman is about a character learning he needs to change, the new season is about whether or not he can. It’s a character in a rut, trying to pull out of that rut, and the rut pulling back.

Also, there are lots of surprise guest stars and funny talking animal jokes.

The series was created by Raphael Bob-Waksberg, and executive produced by Raphael Bob-Waksberg, Steven A. Cohen, Noel Bright, Arnett and Paul.

You can check out BoJack’s second coming in the trailer above, and get ready for the July 17 binge (watch).
