The highly anticipated 'Captain America 2' (officially titled 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier'), which, according to Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, is supposed to completely change the public's perception of what a superhero movie is, started screening for press. Now, thanks to social media, the first 'Captain America 2' reviews are trickling in and word is overwhelmingly positive.

While they don't go in depth (which will be saved for later, as full reviews won't be published until closer to release time), the early buzz suggests this is Marvel's best film to date and its impact on the overarching Marvel Cinematic Universe will blow fans' minds.

To kick things off, here is what our editors Mike Sampson (Editor-in-Chief) and Damon Houx had to say:

'Captain America 2' is certainly one of Marvel's longer works, running at 2 hours and 8 minutes, but these early reviews praise the intense action for moving things along, while another qualm raised was with the plot.

'Captain America 2,' described by directors Anthony and Joe Russo as a political thriller disguised as a superhero movie, brings back Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson as Captain America and Black Widow, who, after tackling numerous missions for S.H.I.E.L.D. and Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury, now head to Washington, D.C. to handle a mysterious threat -- The Winter Soldier. Sebastian Stan's Bucky Barnes, thought to be dead after the events of the first 'Captain America' movie, has been brainwashed and genetically enhanced into becoming a super assassin. To stop him, Cap will have to enlist the aid of newbie superhero The Falcon, played by Anthony Mackie.
