Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye went from one of the less compelling members of the MCU team to one of its most endearing and delightful thanks to his expanded arc in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Hawkeye is gearing up to return to the big screen in Captain America: Civil War, where he’ll be pitted against his longtime partner and friend, Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow, in an epic battle between Avengers. And it looks like he’s gotten a bit of a costume upgrade, as you can see in these new pieces of promo art.

Renner shared the promo art on his Twitter account, showing off a couple of variations on Hawkeye’s costume:

Looking sharp, Hawkeye. Renner’s hero will be on Captain America’s team, while Black Widow is sort of on Iron Man’s team — though she’s always been more of a lone wolf. Johansson described her part as the “mediator,” and explained her position to EW a while back:

I think when you find her in Civil War, she’s looking to strategize her position, putting herself in a place where she is able to let the powers that be fight it out or whatever amongst themselves. She’s always a little bit on the perimeter so she can have a better perspective of what’s really going on.

Civil War also features returning stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Sebastian Stan, Paul Rudd and Don Cheadle, with Tom Holland and Chadwick Boseman making their respective MCU debuts as Spider-Man and Black Panther.

Captain America: Civil War hits theaters on May 6.
