‘Game of Thrones’ Season 3 Blu-ray Coming in February With Fan-Chosen Box Art!

Some of us still haven't recovered from the bloody massacre that was 'Game of Thrones' season 3, but hopefully we'll manage to get it together by the time its Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Download hit stores on February 18, 2014. In addition to the extra features, fans will have an opportunity to choose limited-edition art for the Blu-ray packaging!

The standard DVD will arrive with the dragon shadow key art we'd seen all over the place when 'Game of Thrones' season 3 debuted, but fans will have the opportunity to choose the Blu-ray box art on the 'Game of Thrones' and Best Buy Facebook pages by liking the chosen image. Among the choices, fans can decide amongst "Character Edition" art, featuring the season 3 posters of Peter Dinklage, Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke, or sigils for the various 'Game of Thrones' houses.

"We love that 'Game of Thrones' fans are so passionate and vocal about our home entertainment products and the reaction to the Best Buy exclusive packaging has been fantastic for two years running," said HBO Home Entertainment Marketing VP Meredith Vincent. "This is a fun and exciting way to reward fans and give them a direct voice into what is created for the next release."

Voting will end on Sunday, Jul. 21, with the winner to be announced on Friday, Aug. 2. As for the 'Game of Thrones' season 3 home release's actual features, HBO will announce the specs by the end of the year.
