‘Game of Thrones’ Season 4 Behind the Scenes: Production Design Featurette Reveals New Sets and Costumes
Along with fresh 'Walking Dead' this Sunday, HBO will provide 'Game of Thrones' fans with an extended look at the season 4 via new special 'Game of Thrones Ice and Fire: A Foreshadowing." Still, why wait even that long? HBO has a brand new behind-the-scenes production featurette to tease designs and character work, and did we mention Daenerys in a skimpy navel dress? Daenerys in a skimpy navel dress.
Apart from our new favorite 'Game of Thrones' season 4 episode to feature Emilia Clarke in a skimpy navel dress, the new featurette offers fresh looks at 'Sherlock' star Mark Gatiss as Tycho Nestoris of the Iron Bank of Braavos, along with the major battle to come for the Night's Watch, by way of introducing new production designer Deborah Riley. Not to mention, at least one character will be seen visiting the Moon Door of the Eyrie this season, though like the previous trailers, said identity remains somewhat veiled.
While we're still poring over the gallery of ‘Game of Thrones’ season 4 photos, HBO has cast in known roles Joel Fry as Hizdahr zo Loraq, Roger Ashton-Griffiths as Mace Tyrell, Pedro Pascal as Prince Oberyn Martell, Indira Varma as Oberyn’s lover Ellaria Sand, Yuri Kolokolnikov as Styr, Magnar of Thenn, and ‘Sherlock’ star Mark Gatiss as Tycho Nestoris. ‘Treme”s Michiel Huisman will replace Ed Skrein as Daario Naharis, and Hafthor Julius Bjornsson will take over the role of Gregor “The Mountain” Clegane from Ian Whyte, among other recastings.
Check out the latest look at 'Game of Thrones' season 4 above (did we mention Daenerys in a skimpy navel dress?) above, and tell us in the comments what you want to see from the April 6 premiere? Is it Daenerys in a skimpy navel dress? You got it!
