‘Gilmore Girls’ Spends Sixteen Years in the Life in New Netflix Teaser
Take a moment, and think of all the coffee you’ve consumed in the last decade. Now double it, triple that, and you might be somewhere in the neighborhood of Rory and Lorelai since Gilmore Girls first premiered 16 years ago. Don’t take our word for it though, see for yourself in a new retrospective before Netflix’s A Year in the Life.
In lieu of a proper trailer, Netflix had Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel really earn those $750,000 paydays with a new featurette looking back on the show’s start almost two decades ago. Most of the cast chimes in in their memories of the series as well, but not-so-curiously absent, of course, is Melissa McCarthy.
While we’re at it, check out the newest poster:
Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life has confirmed to return Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Melissa McCarthy, Jared Padalecki, Milo Ventimiglia, Matt Czuchry, Liza Weil, Yanic Truesdale, Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Sean Gunn, and Keiko Agena, among many others. Original producers Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino will once again be at the helm, having left the final year in a dispute with Warner Bros.
You can see the first teaser below, and stay tuned for more Gilmore Girls toward the November 25 premiere.
