Even with Netflix soon to release its latest original thriller 'Hemlock Grove' this Friday, and the monumental release of 'Arrested Development' season 4 to follow, we're eager to see the inevitable release of 'House of Cards' season 2. Late last week we learned that production would soon begin on the first of 13 all-new episodes, but now we're hearing one character will have a majorly increased presence. Find out who 'House of Cards' will thrust in to the spotlight inside!

It's unclear at this point where Netflix's 'House of Cards' season 2 will take its lead character Francis Underwood (Kevin Spacey), even after the bombshell ending of its first 13 episodes. Now, however, Deadline has revealed at least one understandable promotion for the season, namely that series star Michael Gill (President Garrett Walker) will move up to series regular for the next run.

Spoilers be warned, but Underwood's promotion to Vice President at the end of season 1 will certainly signal increased screen time for 'House of Cards' President, but one that could take a dark turn as Underwood schemes his next power play to the top. Production on 'House of Cards' season 2 will soon commence in Maryland, though it remains to be seen if it will follow the same Netflix model of releasing all episodes at once.

What say you? Do you think Underwood will make it all the way to the top for 'House of Cards' season 2? What Netflix series are you most looking forward to seeing?
