‘Legends of Tomorrow’ Meet Jonah Hex in First ‘Magnificent Eight’ Trailer

After a quick jaunt to the future, Legends of Tomorrow will retreat way, way back to the past to link up with another DC legend. Gunslinger Jonah Hex makes his official debut in a new trailer for “The Magnificent Eight,” as the team heads into the old west.

The first footage after DC’s WonderCon sizzle reel features the Legends headed back in time to escape the mysterious “Hunters” dispatched by the Time Lords, encountering Johnathon Schaech’s take on the DC hero in the process. So reads the official synopsis for “The Magnificent Eight”:

When the team needs a place to hide out, Rip (Arthur Darvill) sets a course for the Old West. Upon arrival, they start a fight with a gang of outlaws, putting the small town in jeopardy. Luckily, an old friend of Rip’s, Jonah Hex (guest star Johnathon Schaech), steps in to save them.

No word on if we’ll meet any of the other weird and wacky DC heroes Legends of Tomorrow has teased alongside Jonah Hex, but take a look at the first trailer above, and stay tuned for more from the DC drama next week.
