It remains to be seen if 'Thor: The Dark World' will really prove required viewing before 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' picks up the pieces in this week's "The Well," but that concept proves much more literal than we expected in the first five minutes of the new 'Thor' tie-in episode!

While we doubt any actual Asgardians or Dark Elves will pop up over the course of the hour, the first clip from "The Well" literally shows us to pick up where we left off, as Coulson and the team sift through the wreckage of - spoiler alert - the big battle in Greenwich, London. Fitz begrudgingly carries out cleanup of all the alien tech, while Skye has more questions than answers about Asgardian mythology.

In the second part of the five-minute sneak peek, we head to Norway itself, wherein an unfamiliar couple finds an ancient Asgardian relic hidden deep within a forest, seemingly drawing super-strength from the mysterious artifact. That doesn't seem to tie in to anything we remember about 'Thor: The Dark World,' but hey, who knows?

Here’s what ABC has to say on next week’s ‘Thor‘-centric “The Well”:

“The Well” – In the aftermath of the events chronicled in the feature film Marvel’s “Thor: The Dark World,” Coulson and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. pick up the pieces–one of which threatens to destroy a member of the team, on Tuesday, November 19.

Guest starring Peter MacNicol as Professor Elliot Randolph, Michael Graziadei as Jakob Nystrom, Erin Way as Petra Larsen, Toby Wilson as Neils, Alex Neustaedter as Maynard and Sylvia Brindis as Elena.

Well, what are you waiting for? Check out 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' picking up after 'Thor: The Dark World' in the clip above, and tell us in the comments if you think we'll be in for any major cameos!
