Say what you will about Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' needing near of an entire season to build up its credibility, the 'Avengers'-adjacent drama has had some impressive visual effects from the start. While we await news of season 2, as well as the first season Blu-ray release, we can see the marvel-ous effects created from scratch with a new VFX reel for Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'!

You're warned of some spoilers from the reel (as well as the sight of Bill Paxton in tight green stockings), but it's certainly an impressive achievement to see where the Marvel money went every week, and to consider how they might improve production in season 2.

Curiously scored to the 'Dark Knight Rises' soundtrack, the new nine-minute reel from CGMeetup shows the before and after of almost every major effect from the first season of 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,' from Mike Peterson's (J. August Richards) thrilling pilot heroics to Bill Paxton's shiny robot body from season 1 finale "Beginning of the End." Especially intriguing to see are all the unexpected effects shots, mostly involving the group's "Bus" aircraft, which could require multiple layers of effects even when completely grounded.

Take a look at the 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' season 1 FX reel above, and tell us in the comments what you want to see from season 2 of Marvel's ABC series!
