Last week before ABC officially announced that Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' would go to series, and released Sunday's epic trailer, the network "accidentally" released a mysterious clip that appeared to be 'The Incredible Hulk' seen from a different angle. Now that the series has officially been greenlit, several more mysterious clips have popped up under a viral group called "Rising Tide!" Get in on the 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' viral goodness early inside!

With months to go before ABC officially unveils its Joss Whedon-directed Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' pilot, a new viral campaign has popped up under the headline WeAreTheRisingTide, which purports to be run by an underground group exposing the activities of S.H.I.E.L.D.! Utilizing snippets from previous Marvel movies (and injecting S.H.I.E.L.D. operatives into real life disaster scenes), the new website will no doubt play into unleashing viral goodies the closer we get to 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s premiere.

Also worth noting are the ID badges Marvel released of the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents (Coulson included) along with a picture of the mysterious hacker "Skye" (Chloe Bennet), who herself is identified as a "Possible Rising Tide Collaborator." No doubt the Rising Tide website will feature into the character's introduction in the pilot, which as reported earlier, may or may not contain a certain Marvel superhero.

Marvel’s ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ TV series features a cast that includes Clark Gregg’s resurrected Agent Phil Coulson, as well as Whedon vet J. August Richards,  ‘ER’ doc Ming-Na, Brett Dalton, Elizabeth Henstridge and Iain De Caestecker as the other agents of the team. Nick Fury himself, Samuel L. Jackson previously stated that he expected to be involved in some small capacity, while ‘How I Met Your Mother‘ and ‘The Avengers‘ star Cobie Smulders remains open to the possibility as well.
