‘Masters of Sex’ Season 3 Comes Together in New Trailer and Poster

Showtime’s Masters of Sex will launch firmly into the sexual revolution with its upcoming Season 3 premiere, but don’t think a more relaxed mindset has done away with the drama’s punny sense of humor. A new poster teases some three-way Twister between the series leads, while a new trailer shows off the guest cast coming together for Season 3.

Dropping the moon landing symbolism this time out, the latest look at Masters of Sex Season 3 (premiering July 12 with Ray Donovan) teases some unexpected happenings between Libby (Caitlin Fitzgerald) and Virginia (Lizzy Caplan), also affording our first look at The Good Wife star Josh Charles in a guest role. Keeping a sense of fun to the proceedings, the third season’s poster highlights the same three-way dynamic, playfully suggesting the three will “Come Together.”

Because of sex, you see. Intercourse.

In addition to a time jump to 1966, after which the titular pair’s study has already been published, the third season of Masters of Sex will focus on the national implications of Masters & Johnson’s work, also introducing a young Hugh Hefner, of Playboy fame.
