NBC’s ‘Heroes Reborn’ Still Happening, Here Are Some Photos to Support That
Pushing dangerously past the point of pranking shelf-life, NBC’s Heroes Reborn continues to insist on itself as an actual thing that will exist on television. Now with Upfronts 2015 in play, the network’s most elaborate joke even has its own photos, and a tentative weekly schedule for the fall.
Our first photos of NBC’s Heroes Reborn include looks at the returning Jack Coleman in the role of Noah “HRG” Bennett and Chuck / Thor: the Dark World star Zachary Levi, as well as the return of Hiro Nakarumra’s famous katana. For the moment at least, NBC has currently scheduled its Heroes revival for Thursdays this fall, opening up the primetime hours at 8:00 P.M.
So reads the official Heroes Reborn logline:
From original creator Tim Kring, the supernatural phenomenon begins again with a fresh crop of inspiring heroes who take on the ultimate struggle between those with extraordinary abilities and those with nefarious motives to hunt and harness their powers. Epic adventures await these newly empowered allies as they cross paths with some of the original characters (such as the beloved “HRG” and fan-favorite time-traveler Hiro Nakamura), unlocking the mysterious fate of the universe and their place within it.
In addition to returning Jimmy Jean-Louis as “The Haitian” and Masi Oka as the time-traveling Hiro Nakamura, Heroes Reborn boasts among its cast Once Upon A Time villain Robbie Kay, Ryan Guzman, Danika Yarosh, Judith Shekoni, Kiki Sukezane, Henry Zebrowski and Gatlin Green. Past series leads Zachary Quinto, Ali Larter and Milo Ventimiglia all previously shot down the possibility of returning to the Heroes franchise, along with Nashville star and Heroes alum Hayden Panettiere.
