It’s difficult to say what new Black Mirror episodes might look like, given a Netflix order four times its usual season length, but that hasn’t stopped the Twilight Zone-esque tech anthology from beefing up its talent. Not only did Alice Eve and Bryce Dallas Howard join in February, but now Roots star Malachi Kirby will lead a fiery new parable.

Per Deadline, up-and-comer Kirby is set to star in an upcoming episode directed by Jakob Verbruggen, given the cryptic title of “Men Against Fire.” The upcoming Roots remake star joins fellow recent additions Bryce Dallas Howard and Alice Eve, who will participate in an episode directed by Joe Wright.

Previously, Concussion and Halt & Catch Fire stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Mackenzie Davis had been tapped for an upcoming episode of the technology-driven Twilight Zone analogue, as directed by past “Be Right Back” helmer Owen Harris. As expected, plot details for any of the upcoming episode have been kept strictly under wraps.

For those unfamiliar with the series, whose two seasons have endured strong Netflix play already, Black Mirror takes an anthology approach to technology parables, each episode telling an original tale of the dark influence modern and future technology might have on humanity. Existing episodes have impressively featured the likes of Fantastic Four baddie Toby Kebbell, Agent Carter favorite Hayley Atwell, Star Wars: The Force Awakens villain Domhnall Gleeson, and most recently a Christmas special with Jon Hamm and Game of Thrones alum Oona Chaplin.

House of Tomorrow’s Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones will remain onboard as executive producers and showrunners, with production having already commenced abroad. No premiere dates have yet been determined, but what other big names might enter the fray?
