Most 'Orange is the New Black' fans have barely had time to finish screening the second season of Netflix's breakout original series, but already the streaming service is making season 3 seem like an eternity away. Not only has recent 'Justified' addition Mary Steenburgen signed up for a mysterious new role, but yet another actor from the existing cast has ascended to series regular.

From the Hollywood Reporter, Netflix is keeping mum about whatever role Steenburgen might play, though the one-time 'Back to the Future' star coyly teased her role in announcing the news over Twitter, as to say "Will I be in orange or black?:)" Meanwhile, Steenburgen will have plenty of company in the third season, as Dascha Polenko (Daya) becomes the latest star from seasons 1 and 2 to break ground as a series regular for season 3.

Litchfield is certainly getting crowded, as we’ve also learned that in the third season of ‘Orange is the New Black’ Samira Wiley (Poussey), Selenis Leyva (Gloria), Nick Sandow (Joe Caputo) and Adrienne C. Moore (Black Cindy) have been upgraded to series regulars as well. Laura Prepon too will return full-time, despite her somewhat handicapped presence in the second season.

The third season of 'Orange is the New Black' seems like a lifetime away, but what do you think? Is Mary Steenburgen a good taste of things to come? Who do you think the Oscar-winning actress might play, inmate or other? Give us your thoughts on all things 'Orange' in the comments below!
