We've been counting down the days until 'Sons of Anarchy' season 6 roars out its September 10 premiere, said to be chock full of controversy and violence, so about the last place we'd have expected to find FX promoting its Kurt Sutter biker drama would be 'Sesame Street.' We've seen "Upside Downton Abbey" and "Birdwalk Empire," but are you ready for "Sons of Poetry"?

Naturally, the latest 'Sesame Street' parody sketch wisely avoids the darker themes its target has become known for, changing Jax, Clay, Tig and Bobby into puppets that ride around looking to help poets with their rhyming skills, when they're not fending off a low-flying crow. Then again, if season 6 decided to go off on a tangent and repurpose Clay after so many seasons, we can't say we'd be too upset. Bring on the 'Breaking Bad' parody!

While we wait for the real premiere, the sixth season of ‘Sons of Anarchy’ will feature the likes of ‘RoboCop‘ star Peter Weller, C. Thomas Howell, ‘Shameless’ star Steve Howey, former ‘The Shield’ star CCH Pounder, ‘Deadwood’ star Kim Dickens, while both Drea de Matteo’s Wendy and Donal Logue’s villainous Lee Toric will return, and Jimmy Smits (Nero Padilla) was upgraded to series regular. Sutter previously confirmed to reporters that the next batch of episodes would likely open a few days ahead in the story, with the weight of the season 5 finale’s events still fresh.

Well, what say you? Has 'Sesame Street' scored another spot on parody for 'Sons of Anarchy?' Watch the sketch above, and tell us what you think in the comments!
