We still don’t know very much about Hulu’s Stephen King-J.J. Abrams anthology series Castle Rock, though the new drama exploring King’s iconic tales at least has a face. Moonlight star André Holland leads the 10-episode series, whose production begins later this year.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, recent American Horror Story graduate Holland will take the role of Henry, a “death row attorney with a unique and complicated history in Castle Rock, Maine.” Manhattan alum Sam Shaw and Dusty Thomason will helm the Bad Robot project, while Warner Bros. describes the 10-episode series as such:

A psychological-horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse, Castle Rock combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King’s best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland. The fictional Maine town of Castle Rock has figured prominently in King’s literary career: Cujo, The Dark Half, IT and Needful Things, as well as novella The Body and numerous short stories such as Rita Hayworth and The Shawshank Redemption are either set there or contain references to Castle Rock. Castle Rock is an original suspense/thriller — a first-of-its-kind reimagining that explores the themes and worlds uniting the entire King canon, while brushing up against some of his most iconic and beloved stories.

For those unfamiliar with the concept, Castle Rock serves as the fictional Maine town where many of King’s stories have been set, including The Dead Zone, Cujo, The Body and others. References to the town can also be found in Creepshow, The Shawshank Redemption, Pet Sematary, It, The Stand, Under the Dome, 11.22.63 and others.

Each season is likely to feature different characters and storylines, but connect with certain themes and characters from previous years. Check out the first Castle Rock teaser again below, and stay tuned.
