They’ll never stop The Simpsons, so have no fear, they’ve got stories for years, but did you know America’s favorite animated family was thought up in the lobby before a pitch meeting? Or that Matt Groening based most of the characters on his own family? These are just some of the Springfield kwyjibos populating the tenth episode of ‘You Think You Know TV?,’ which pays a visit to The Simpsons’ home state of … uh, somewhere!

Most Simpsons fans know that the fab five began as a collection of animated shorts for The Tracey Ullman Show, before spinning off into their own series, though Matt Groening had a surprising reason for developing the characters on the spot, rather than use some of his existing work. Now scheduled to hit 625 episodes, The Simpsons also continues breaking records, first for longest-running primetime animated series, next for U.S. sitcom, and who knows when they’ll hang it up?
