Comic-Con 2013 is literally days away and the cool stuff coming out in anticipation of geekdom's biggest event keeps on coming. The latest is a terrific 'Thor 2' poster that we think is significantly better than any of the one-sheets for the first film.

A gorgeous, painted print that showcases the film's cast (including a few new faces), the poster is a far step above the atrocious, Photoshopped nightmares that have plagued Marvel's movies so far. Of course, the chances of this actually ending up on a multiplex wall are small, so enjoy it while you can. We fully expect that a bunch of floating head posters will arrive in the coming months.

Although the poster includes familiar faces like Chris Hemsworth's Thor, Tom Hiddleston's Loki and Anthony Hopkins' Odin, it also features the villainous likes of Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje's Algrim the Strong and Christopher Eccleston's Malekith.

In addition to the poster reveal, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige dropped a few details about the upcoming sequel, letting us know that the film will delve deeper into the culture of Thor's home world of Asgard:

We wanted to see more of Asgard than last time. We see the street-level view, the nooks and crannies of house people actually live there―real people and not just golden superbeings.

'Thor: The Dark World' opens on November 8th, 2013.
