‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Photos: “End of the Beginning” Has Deathlok Looking Like Deathlok
Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' will take yet another brief hiatus this week in favor of ABC's retrospective and 'Avengers 2' preview 'Marvel Studios: Assembling a Universe,' but the 'Agents' will return next weeks with "End of the Beginning." In the meantime, the first photos show an 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' bingo with Agents Victoria Hand (Saffron Burrows), Blake (Titus Welliver), Sitwell (Maximilliano Hernandez) and John Garrett (Bill Paxton), while J. August Richards' Deathlok looks increasingly like his comic counterpart!
"End of the Beginning" will see Coulson doing as he promised in last week's 'Thor'-centric "Yes Men," taking the fight to both Deathlok and the ever-mysterious "Clairvoyant," in a search for answers to the mysterious blue alien compound that apparently saved both he and Skye's lives. Of course, the coming weeks will see 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' presumably with a whole new set of problems by the arrival of 'Captain America 2,' but mum's the word on how those two might interact for the moment.
Meanwhile, here's what ABC had to say of April 1 installment "End of the Beginning":
"End of the Beginning" - Agents Garrett (Bill Paxton) and Triplett are back to help Coulson's team track down S.H.I.E.L.D.'S nefarious enemy--the Clairvoyant. But will Deathlok destroy them all to protect his master's identity?
Guest starring are Bill Paxton as Agent John Garrett, J. August Richards as Deathlok, Saffron Burrows as Agent Victoria Hand, Maximiliano Hernandez as Agent Jasper Sitwell, Titus Welliver as Agent Felix Blake, B.J. Britt as Agent Antoine Triplett and Brad Dourif as Thomas Nash.
We'd love to see Brad Dourif having something to do with the Clairvoyant, if not taking the job entirely himself, but in the meantime, what do you think? Could "End of the Beginning" prove even more Marvel-ous than the hour that preceded it? Check out the first shots of 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.''s April 1 return below, including new looks at the increasingly-armored Deathlok, and tell us what you think in the comments!
