Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' has opened its classified season 2 files to reveal quite a few new faces and footage of the September 23 premiere, but it seems at least one early season 2 story will call back to the ABC drama's pre-Hydra days. Dylan Minnette will return as Donnie Gill, A.K.A. Marvel supervillain Blizzard, according to a new synopsis for season 2's third episode "Making Friends and Influencing People."

Per Marvel, the the October 7 installment of 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' season 2 will see Hydra and Coulson's new underground S.H.I.E.L.D. force racing to reach Gill and his abilities, following first season installment "Seeds," which introduced Minnette's Gill as an academy trainee who accidentally instilled himself with ice powers. In the comics, Blizzard gained his cold-related abilities from a suit bestowed by Justin Hammer (as portrayed by the MCU with 'Iron Man 2''s Sam Rockwell), and has been tied to such other Marvel villains as The Mandarin (Ben Kingsley, ish), AIM and Baron Zemo.

Here's how Marvel describes 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' season 2 installment "Making Friends and Influencing People:"

Coulson and his team race against HYDRA to get to Donnie Gill--a dangerous gifted with the ability to freeze objects--while Simmons is caught in the crossfire on Tuesday, October 7.

In addition to 'Agent Carter' and her Howling Commandos, here's how ABC describes September 23 premiere "Shadows":

Coulson and his team are now wanted fugitives with limited resources--but that's not stopping them from keeping the world safe from powerful and unseen threats everywhere. However, with new members they hardly know, will S.H.I.E.L.D. ever be trusted again?

Guest starring are B.J. Britt as Agent Antoine Triplett, Nick Blood as Agent Lance Hunter, Adrian Pasdar as Brigadier General Glenn Talbot, Henry Simmons as Alphonso "Mack" Mackenzie, Patton Oswalt as Agent Billy Koenig, Lucy Lawless as Isabelle "Izzy" Hartley, Wilmer Calderon as Idaho, Reed Diamond as Daniel Whitehall, Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, Brian Patrick Wade as Carl Creel, Matthew Glave as Roger Browning, Simon Kassianides as Sunil Bakshi, George Stephanopoulos as self, Raquel Gardner as Carla Talbot, Ben Turner Nixon as Hydra Officer, Franco Vega as Military Leader, Rich Ceraulo as Soldier #1, and JB Tadena as Private Tilden.
