'American Horror Story: Freak Show' has promised to show us all manner of unusual people from every walk of life, its increasingly grotesque teasers highlighting everything from three legs to clowns that haunt our dreams forever set the stage, but now season 4 has a growth of its very own. Our October 8 premiere of 'American Horror Story: Freak Show' has officially expanded to 90 minutes!

Per series creator Ryan Murphy himself, FX has granted a super-size premiere to the 'Freak Show,' no doubt welcome with so many new characters and stories to keep straight. Don't expect the network to start granting additional minutes to every episode a la 'Sons of Anarchy' just yet, but our anticipation for 'Freak Show' (at least over 'Coven') makes the extra growth more than worth the price of admission.

Here's how FX officially describes its fourth season 'Freak Show':

'American Horror Story: Freak Show' begins its tale in the quiet, sleepy hamlet of Jupiter, Florida. The year is 1952. A troupe of curiosities has just arrived to town, coinciding with the strange emergence of a dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of townsfolk and freaks alike. This is the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American carny experience.

The new ‘Freak Show’ season will see franchise veteran Jessica Lange as Elsa Mars, a German ex-patriot running one of the last American freak shows, which includes rescued “unusuals” from the likes of ‘Coven‘ and franchise stars Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Gabourey Sidibe, Sarah Paulson, Denis O’Hare, Evan PetersEmma Roberts and Frances Conroy. ‘The Shield’ star Michael Chiklis will portray a strongman husband to Bassett’s character, 'The Normal Heart' stars Matt Bomer and Finn Wittrock will both take new roles, and Wes Bentley will guest in a Halloween arc.

Additionally, John Carroll Lynch will portray our killer clown Twisty, singer Patti LaBelle will play Gabourey Sidibe's mother, and the world's smallest woman Jyoti Amge will guest as, well, there were really only so many options. Lest we forget, there are also over a dozen photos from the new season, and a score of other details teased from Comic-Con 2014.

We've included the newest 8000 teasers below, but what do you think? Will you take all the 'Freak Show' you can get? How do you think 'American Horror Story' season 4 will conjure one-up on 'Coven?"
