‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ Plucks Chloe Sevigny From the ‘Asylum’
Another day, another cast member of American Horror Story: Hotel for Ryan Murphy to break. Where yesterday saw the FX horror guru adding Connie Britton to the world of American Crime, today marks the announcement that Asylum alum Chloe Sevigny will officially check into American Horror Story Season 5, Hotel.
As per usual, Murphy offered no details on Sevigny’s role within the Hotel itself, though we at least know her character to be a series regular. Following her freaky stint in the Asylum, Sevigny joins a cast that thus far includes Freak Show alum Wes Bentley and Matt Bomer, along with new additions Cheyenne Jackson and Lady Gaga.
FX boss John Landgraf previously described American Horror Story Season 5 as an “unusually large reinvention” of the series, while Jessica Lange formally confirmed her exit, series stars Sarah Paulson and Denis O’Hare gave a more optimistic outlook on appearances, and X-Men: Apocalypse star Evan Peters’ participation also remains in question.
We’ll surely have more to add to the Season 5 Hotel roster in the coming weeks, but who else from the series’ past should join the next iteration of American Horror Story?
