American Horror Story Season 7 remains curiously under-wraps for a series with its central premise and returning cast exposed, but new additions are always welcome. Latest to join the franchise is none other than Scream Queens and Arrow alum Colton Haynes, but in what role?

As you might have guessed, creator Ryan Murphy’s Instagram announcement of Haynes’ role offered no details of the actual part. And before you go equating Haynes’ red lips with that elephant monster from earlier teases, know that the photo has been part of his online modeling portfolio for some time:

Welcome to American Horror Story, Colton Haynes

Haynes already put in an unrecognizable cameo in Murphy’s FOX Scream Queens, and rightly felt at home with American Horror Story:

Elsewhere of Season 7, Carrie Fisher’s daughter Billie Lourd has also joined in a mysterious role, along with comedian Billy Eichner and Popular alum Leslie Grossman. In addition to returning stars Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Cheyenne Jackson and Adina Porter, Season 7 might feature the return of several characters from American Horror Story: Freak Show, while a separate upcoming season was said to bring together Murder House and Coven characters.

Season 7 will likely offer more concrete announcements soon, so stay tuned for the latest on American Horror Story.
