‘Arrow’ Season 3 Adds Vinnie Jones as DC Villain Brick
'Arrow' season 3 has played host to a wealth of DC comics additions in only its first few weeks, with plenty more on the way, so why not keep adding to the list? Fresh off supervillainous turns in 'The Cape' and 'X-Men' universes, Vinnie Jones will take up his next comic baddie role in 'Arrow' season 3 as DC villain "Brick."
Per Variety, Jones will appear in the 10th, 11th and 12th episodes of the third season as Danny “Brick” Brickwell, a ruthless gang leader who brings Star City (yes, it's "Star" now)'s government to its knees. And where the DC comics villain gets his name from an invulnerable hyde, 'Arrow''s less 'Flash'-y original will see Brick so named for having been shot dozens of times, but never put down.
Jones joins season 3 additions that include 'Spartacus' vet Nick Tarabay as 'Flash' villain Captain Boomerang, Matt Nable as DC baddie Ra's al Ghul, 'Superman Returns' star Brandon Routh's Ray Palmer, Peter Stormare's new Vertigo, J.R. Ramirez as DC superhero Wildcat, David Cubitt as Manhunter, Matt Ward as Komodo, and Amy Gumenick as Cupid. Had enough? 'Real Steel’ star Karl Yune plays Oliver’s flashback Hong Kong handler alongside Rila Fukushima as DC's Katana, having replaced Devon Aoki.
'Arrow' season 3 will continue this Wednesday with "Corto Maltese," but in the meantime, what say you? Is the DC drama's third season over-stuffed with DC villains, or will Vinnie Jones' Brick make a memorable addition? Check out the latest trailer below, and give us your predictions in the comments!
