Spider-Man Swings Across a Bridge in New ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Clip
The Infinity War marketing has been especially fun for giving us little teases of what our favorite superheroes have been up to. The most recent TV spot was all about Wakanda, making me all the more pumped to revisit Black Panther, Okoye and Shuri, and the full trailer gave us a peek at Tom Holland’s Peter Parker. We’ve seen his spidey sense tingling in that trailer, and now we’ve got a new clip revealing more from that scene.
When Peter spots Thanos’ Q-Ship hovering over Manhattan, he asks his best bud Ned (yay for the return of Jacob Batalon!) to cause a distraction so he can escape. Naturally, Ned panics by calling attention to the spaceship, allowing Peter to casually slip out the window and swing his way under the Queensboro Bridge, which reminds me of that one time acrobats channeled Spidey on the Williamsburg Bridge.
Here’s the full synopsis:
Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet — the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artifacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment.
Prepare to see all the Marvel characters you can imagine, and then some, come together when Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters April 27.
