NBC ‘Heroes Reborn’ Still Happening, Now Still Happening at Comic-Con 2015
It just wouldn’t be Comic-Con without further superheroes to toss into the mix, and NBC’s Heroes Reborn is happy to oblige, by way of … you know, still existing. The superhero drama will return to San Diego for Comic-Con 2015 after a number of years away, along with NBC’s Grimm.
NBC Universal has confirmed that Heroes Reborn will stake its claim in Hall H on Sunday, July 12 at 1:45 P.M. Former and returning series star Greg Grunberg will moderate the panel, joined by the likes of executive producer Tim Kring and stars Jack Coleman, Zachary Levi, Robbie Kay, Kiki Sukezane, Ryan Guzman, Gatlin Green, Henry Zebrowski, Judith Shekoni, Danika Yarosh and Rya Kihlstedt.
Meanwhile, Grimm will spend Saturday hunting Wesen in Ballroom 20 from 3:00 P.M. on, including series stars David Giuntoli, Russell Hornsby, Silas Weir Mitchell, Reggie Lee, Sasha Roiz, Bree Turner and Claire Coffee, as well as EPs and writers Jim Kouf, David Greenwalt and Norberto Barba.
So reads the official Heroes Reborn logline:
From original creator Tim Kring, the supernatural phenomenon begins again with a fresh crop of inspiring heroes who take on the ultimate struggle between those with extraordinary abilities and those with nefarious motives to hunt and harness their powers. Epic adventures await these newly empowered allies as they cross paths with some of the original characters (such as the beloved “HRG” and fan-favorite time-traveler Hiro Nakamura), unlocking the mysterious fate of the universe and their place within it.
Although not in attendance at Comic-Con, Heroes Reborn also boasts among its cast Orphan Black alum Dylan Bruce, original series stars Sendhil Ramamurthy (Mohinder Suresh), Masi Oka (Hiro Nakamura) and Jimmy-Jean Louis (The Haitian).
Heroes Reborn will premiere on Thursdays this fall at 8:00 P.M., but will its Comic-Con 2015 appearance win fans over?
