The Punisher Does His Best Bane in New ‘Daredevil’ Season 2 Teaser

The first Season 2 trailer made fairly evident that Daredevil would suffer some serious damage at the hands of Jon Bernthal’s Punisher, and a new teaser may well expose Matt’s identity outright. Watch Frank Castle break the Bat Daredevil in a new sneak peek of Season 2!

Following Matt Murdock’s chain fetish and individual teasers for Foggy and Karen, Jon Bernthal’s Punisher is the latest to garner a motion poster from Netflix. Poor Frank is still wearing street-clothes for now, but may have unmasked Daredevil, to be carrying that piece of the costume around with him.

So reads the official Daredevil Season 2 synopsis:

Just when Matt thinks he is bringing order back to the city, new forces are rising in Hell’s Kitchen. Now the Man Without Fear must take on a new adversary in Frank Castle and face an old flame – Elektra Natchios.

Bigger problems emerge when Frank Castle, a man looking for vengeance, is reborn as The Punisher, a man who takes justice into his own hands in Matt’s neighborhood. Meanwhile, Matt must balance his duty to his community as a lawyer and his dangerous life as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen, facing a life-altering choice that forces him to truly understand what it means to be a hero.

So far of Daredevil Season 2, we know for sure that Rosario Dawson has been confirmed to reprise her role as Claire Temple, along with Scott Glenn’s Stick. In addition to Elodie Yung’s Elektra and Jon Bernthal’s Punisher, Drew Goddard remains aboard as a consultant, though the series has changed showrunners from Steven DeKnight to Marco Rodriguez and Doug Petrie.
