As we’ve seen with The Avengers before them, the coming teamup between Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist is bound to rope in some of the supporting cast. Now, not only has Simone Missick’s Misty Knight been confirmed to return for The Defenders, but so too does Deborah Ann Woll have a punishing schedule ahead.

Marvel’s Defenders Twitter account confirmed that both Deborah Ann Woll and Simone Missick would take part in the 2017 teamup miniseries, reprising their roles as Karen Page and Misty Knight. Missick had previously confirmed her involvement in the Luke Cage successor, while Woll will follow up her series regular role in The Punisher spinoff.

The team-up series will be helmed by Daredevil showrunners Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez, beginning production later this year with Jessica Jones director S.J. Clarkson. Other returning characters so far include Daredevil’s Elden Henson and Scott Glenn, along with Jessica JonesEka Darville., while Sigourney Weaver has signed on as the main, as-yet-unidentified villain.

We’re bound to see a lot more crossover between the four series (lest we forget, we haven’t met most of the Iron Fist cast yet), but will Karen Page put her investigative reporter skills to good use? Will Misty prove crucial to getting Luke out of jail, or stick to the Harlem beat?
