New ‘Game of Thrones’ Animated Short: Ygritte Tells the Night’s Watch History!

The wait for 'Game of Thrones' season 3 gets a bit shorter and less arduous each day, soon to be aided by the February 19 release of 'Game of Thrones' season 2 on Blu-ray and DVD! Earlier this week we caught one of the bad-ass extras of animated shorts detailing the secret origins of the mysterious "Wildfire," and now HBO has gifted us with yet another look at the home release's special feature with a history of the Nights Watch, narrated by none other than Ygritte herself, Rose Leslie! Thought you "knew nothing" before? Every 'Game of Thrones' fan well knows that both the Night's Watch and the Wildlings beyond the wall will play a huge part in the coming season, as Jon Snow meets the mysterious King Mance Rayder (Ciaran Hinds). As a means of preparing fans for the new season and catching up on the history between the Night's Watch and free people beyond the wall, HBO has included a new animated short chronicling the history of the two organizations, particularly as it relates to the coming season!
