HBO’s ‘Veep’ and ‘Silicon Valley’ Renewed for 2017 As Well
Ahead of what will likely prove one of its biggest recorded weekends, HBO already issued a 2017 renewal to Game of Thrones, and now its comedy companions follow suit. Not only will our beloved Veep stay in office for a sixth season, so too will Mike Judge’s Silicon Valley bumble through the tech revolution for a fourth year.
Both series will debut this coming Sunday, April 21, Silicon Valley Season 3 kicking off the 10:00 P.M. slot after Game of Thrones Season 6 premiere “The Red Woman,” followed by Selina Meyer’s continued tenure a step above Veep at 10:30 P.M.
In addition to returning House alum Hugh Laurie, the new season of Veep features among its guest cast Peter MacNicol, and Mad Men alum John Slattery. The third season of Silicon Valley will also feature the addition of Stephen Toblowsky’s Jack Barker, an aggressive and formidable Silicon Valley CEO.
The seventh season episode order of Game of Thrones remains in question, though barring any further update, both Silicon Valley and Veep are expected to remain the same ten episodes as in previous years.
Check out trailers for both below, and stay tuned for the Sunday premiere.
