Superman vs. Iron Man: Your Favorite Superhero of the Summer Is …

It's only recently been officially declared summertime, but for many the season has been in full bloom since the first weekend of May when 'Iron Man 3' pummeled everything in its path. Now, as the months roll on, the superhero everyone is talking about is Superman, thanks to 'Man of Steel.' So which superhero packed the most punch for you?

By all accounts, both 'Iron Man 3' and 'Man of Steel' have their supporters and their detractors, and said detractors mostly point to the controversial third acts as evidence of failure. That said, there's no question that both movies are indisputable successes; 'Iron Man 3' has already become the fifth biggest film of all time at the worldwide box office in less than two months, while 'Man of Steel' leaped to $400 million worldwide in just two weeks.

Of course, there's one more superhero coming down the pike soon in the form of 'The Wolverine.' Could we possibly have another big-time contender for this (clearly) prestigious title?
