At long last Marvel's full trailer for the upcoming ABC 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' TV series has arrived, and it appears to be everything we hoped for and more. That said, having watched the trailer dozens of times now, let's go in-depth with frame-by-frame screencaps to see what secrets we can uncover from 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'!

Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' will assemble on ABC this fall, and there's no way we'll be able to wait that long for a glimpse into the new series from 'The Avengers' director Joss Whedon. To that end, we slowed down today's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' trailer to uncover all the hidden secrets within, so take an HD look at what we found!

As pointed out by our friends at IGN, the trailer's opening shot of a Manhattan skyline features the Avengers (formerly Stark) tower, its "A" still remaining from the events of the film!

Among the first things we see and hear, the mysterious Skye (Chloe Bennet) relays in voiceover that the events of 'The Avengers' opened the world's eyes to the supernatural and superheroic all around them. Quaint way of sneaking in Avenger cameos without expensive actors, too! This young boy is seen later in the trailer being saved by J. August Richards' character (also behind him), so clearly they must have some kind of relationship.

Our first introduction to Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), joking about the S.H.I.E.L.D. acronym and about to have his world rocked by a certain deceased agent. And is it us, or does Ward's off-screen interviewer sound suspiciously like Agent Maria Hill ('How I Met Your Mother's Cobie Smulders)? Spoiler alert!

Coulson lives, baby! "Welcome to Level 7," the agent deadpans, revealing his survival to the previously Level 6 clearance Ward. We have to wonder, how might Coulson keep his survival a secret from the Avengers?

Here we have the same look at J. August Richards' character from the other previews, rescuing a woman from an explosion we'll see later in the trailer. Call him Luke Cage if you want, but we have plenty within this trailer to suggest otherwise...

Who might this holographic fellow be? We've seen this sequence from multiple angles now, and it appears to highlight Coulson introducing Ward to the above figure, who has some degree of strength and may or may not be the Paris figure we'll glimpse later. Given that the same display shows Coulson looking at an exploding figure, and the pervading explosions throughout the trailer, we're guessing the same alien tech attached to people also has a ka-blooey effect.

Agents of SHIELD Trailer Screencap

A much better look at J. August Richards, here being warned by Skye about S.H.I.E.L.D.'s interest in him after she posts cell phone footage of his rescue. Skye operates out of the "Rising Tide" movement, seen exposing S.H.I.E.L.D.'s activities to the world. So who is this "Hooded Hero," as the news reports?

Agents of SHIELD Trailer Screencap

We're given a good look at, if not many words from Ming-Na Wen's Melinda May, apparently known throughout S.H.I.E.L.D. circles as far more formidable than a mere pilot. Curiously, Melinda appears to be taking down a police officer in this shot.

Also seen in previous footage, Agent Leo Fitz (Iain de Caestecker) has some seriously high-tech toys that analyze investigation sites, which here looks to be the remains of the explosion we saw J. August Richards leaping away from.

The same scene, as Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) and Melinda May look over a charred body. Our guess is that the body itself caused the explosion, given what Jemma finds on its arm...

"It's not of this Earth!" We see the same device attached to J. August Richards' arm later, which we're guessing to be the source of his super-strength, or at least the various explosions. We also see a few monitor shots of what looks to be a doctor arguing with a patient, which could imply a bio-chemical nature to the device.

Here we see what appears to be a security recording of the events depicted in hologram, prior to all the chair-smashing and exploding.

Coulson and Ward bring in Skye for questioning, humorously interrupting her voice-masked declaration that S.H.I.E.L.D. will never stop her from revealing the truth. Oh, Joss.

Agents of SHIELD Trailer Screencap
loading...

Coulson clearly takes Grant Ward under his wing, allowing him to take the lead in Skye's interrogation as Grant ominously warns there won't be an "easy way" she can cooperate. And what's up with the hexagon room?

Agents of SHIELD Trailer Screencap
loading...

We can't quite make out the writing on the case, but we're guessing this injection has something to do with stopping the bio-tech device, and likely as a last resort.

Agents of SHIELD Trailer Screencap

Coulson puts a personal touch on his efforts to recruit Skye to their cause, even allowing her to touch Lola! Nobody touches Lola.

Agents of SHIELD Trailer Screencap

"We're not exactly a team. But we're in a position to do some good." Serious Phil is serious, and somehow we're guessing a billionaire friend didn't loan out a private plane so Coulson could visit a certain Portland cellist.

Agents of SHIELD Trailer Screencap

"I've seen giants. The good ones are not heroes because of what they have, it's what they do with it." Coulson lays the ol' Uncle Ben on J. August Richards, likely attempting to recruit him to S.H.I.E.L.D. as well.

Agents of SHIELD Trailer Screencap

A much closer look at the mysterious tech Jemma Simmons earlier pulled off an exploded corpse, here attached to J. August Richards. It's definitely him, as the shirt matches one of the next shots. Might this be the source of his powers, to whom Coulson reveals that others besides S.H.I.E.L.D. are interested in? It certainly has a Chitauri look to it...

Agents of SHIELD Trailer Screencap

Coulson overlooking the hologram from earlier, lending further credence to the theory that the explosions come from people, or at least a solitary figure.

Agents of SHIELD Trailer Screencap
loading...

It would appear that one of Coulson's meetings with J. August Richards doesn't go so well at first. Loki couldn't kill him, does J. August Richards really think he has a chance?

Agents of SHIELD Trailer Screencap

Back to the rescue earlier, taped by Skye. Not to further alienate the Luke Cage theorists, but Richards' quick exit motion and accompanying sound effect likely imply some form of super-speed, which Cage isn't known to have. Granted those with super-strength could likely move quickly, but who knows. Also note the street sign pointing out "Marengo Street," a Los Angeles location.

Agents of SHIELD Trailer Screencap

"Don't ever tell me there's no way!" Oh, Phil. Never change.

Agents of SHIELD Trailer Screencap
loading...

It would seem the first explosion takes place shortly after J. August Richards' young companion gazes through the toy store window, so Richards likely runs in afterward to save the redheaded woman with his abilities.

Agents of SHIELD Trailer Screencap

Here we have a look at a thug Richards has been seen to fight within a train station, one whom we'd guess to be much more than a random assailant.

Agents of SHIELD Trailer Screencap
loading...

The same train station sequence, seen at a different point. Richards appears to be traveling with (or forcefully escorting) Skye somewhere through Union Station, even though we can't make out the "U" on the sign outside. On the run from S.H.I.E.L.D., perhaps?

Agents of SHIELD Trailer Screencap

Embedded within the trailer is a merry motorcycle chase through European streets, confirmed to be Paris by the above shot. It isn't entirely clear, but it appears that the man escaping from Grant Ward via helicopter could be the man earlier seen in the hologram.

Agents of SHIELD Trailer Screencap
loading...

Again, it isn't clear if this is the same man who later escapes via helicopter, but he certainly seems to hold his own in a fight against Grant Ward. Might he be among the people interested in superpowers, connected to the alien tech?

Agents of SHIELD Trailer Screencap

SERIOUSLY. DON'T TOUCH LOLA.

Well, what say you? Did you catch anything else from the 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' trailer we might not have caught? Watch the three-minute trailer again, and give us your thoughts in the comments!
