The most common critique of Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' lies with the ABC drama's difficulty matching the heights and star power of its cinematic brethren, but the 'Agents' will at least have one Marvel movie staple under their belt in the coming weeks. The legend himself, Stan Lee will put in his obligatory cameo with an "big" 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' role in the coming weeks.

As revealed by The Hollywood Reporter, Lee will appear in the February 4 episode (subject to change) in an unknown capacity, likely similar to how his other frequent Marvel Universe roles grace the plot with a light touch. Most recently, Lee appeared in 'Thor: The Dark World' in the mental hospital wherein Erik Selvig (Stellan Skarsgard) had been committed, wearily listening to the crazed scientist explain his theories of the universe.

Meanwhile, here's what we can expect from tonight's supposedly-revealing 2014 premiere "The Magical Place"
