It's hard to believe we'll be saying a last goodbye to HBO's 'True Blood' this summer, as the hit fang-banging drama ends altogether with a seventh season. Of course, saying goodbye doesn't slow the series' pace down one bet, as we've learned some surprising details of fan-favorite Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp)'s return, as well as a young new vampire love interest for an unlikely character!

Via TVLine, it seems as if Jason Stackhouse's season 6 decision to spare the life of Sarah Newlin won't come without a price, as the vampire-hating southern belle will return sooner rather than later. In fact, we'll even meet the family of her maiden namesake, the Crabtrees, including two Texas socialite parents and angry, bitter, goth sister Amber, who will appear in multiple episodes for arc that puts into perspective how Sarah became the woman we know her to be.

Elsewhere, Sarah Newlin's won't be the only heart still beating, as Deadline reports that Arlene (Carrie Preston) will find a new love interest in the wake of Terry Bellefleur's death (keep in mind season 6 finale "Radioactive" jumped ahead about six months in time). '90210' alum Riley Smith will find himself with the challenge of courting Arlene as Keith, a "sexy rock’n'roll vampire with a romantic side," as well as a drummer in James’ (Nathan Parson, replacing Luke Grimes) band.

Elsewhere, we know of ‘True Blood’ season 7 that Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) will indeed return, despite a seemingly fiery end teased in the season 6 finale. Storytelling will shrink to see more direct human-vampire relationships in light of the Hepatitis V threat, while more details and series regular ascensions have been outlined in our guide to ‘True Blood”s final season.

Well, what do we think? Given its status as the final year, are you happy to see 'True Blood' season 7 picking up with Sarah Newlin one last time? What do you want to see from the final year of HBO's monster hit?
