The 10 Worst Netflix Movies of the Last 10 Years

Netflix has made so many movies in the last decade. They upload new original features basically every single week of the year, 52 weeks a year. That equates to roughly 14,000 films over the last 10 years. (I’m horrible at math, by the way. You might want to double check my work there.)

Just statistically speaking, they couldn’t all be great. No one has a perfect track record, not even a streaming service with a couple hundred million subscribers around the world. Sprinkled liberally among their great films — and let’s be clear, Netflix has produced some great films too — are at least a handful of cinematic turds.

The nice part about Netflix is, again, because they have approximately 470,000 films and TV shows available at any given time, there’s no need to watch the junk — provided you have enough advance warning about which ones are the junk. I shall attempt to provide that service to you now. (You’re welcome.)

The list below contains the ten worst Netflix movies of the last ten years — at least among the ones I have seen. (Remember: There are 8.9 million Netflix originals; one person cannot physically watch them all.) They include horror movies, animated features, concert films and big-blockbuster action spectacles. The thing that unites them all: They are quite crummy and they are all available right now on Netflix. Statistically speaking, you should probably pick one of the other 16.2 billion things on there.
