‘American Horror Story: Coven’ Releases Most Uncomfortable Teasers and Motion Posters Yet?

Despite the official footage and cast portraits making their way online, ‘American Horror Story: Coven‘ won’t rest until near of every teaser, title and motion poster has us at our most queasy. The FX horror-drama fronted by ‘Glee‘ creator Ryan Murphy has released yet another round of pinning and hair-raising teasers, which you might not want to eat before watching.

Whereas the first two teasers from yesterday “Hair Don’t” and “Study Hall” seem more bizarre and cryptic than scary, the latest from today promptly change the tune. Dating back to one of the earlier posters, the new teaser and motion one-sheet (surprisingly featuring ‘Dollhouse’ star Miracle Laurie) really drive the pinpoints home, letting us know there won’t be anything novel about the voodoo practice this coming year.

While we wait for the October 9 premiere, we know that the third season of Ryan Murphy’s breakout horror hit will move back and forth between both present and 1830s New Orleans in a battle between witches and voodoo, details of which have emerged for the first few episodes. ‘American Horror Story: Coven’ will also welcome newcomers Danny Huston, Christine Ebersole, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Angela Bassett, Patti LuPone, Leslie Jordan and Gabourey Sidibe, along with returning franchise regulars Jessica Lange, Taissa Farmiga, Frances Conroy, Lily Rabe, Denis O’Hare, Alexandra Breckinridge, Frances Conroy, Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters.

Just a few weeks to go, so catch up on the latest ‘American Horror Story: Coven’ scares above and below before the big premiere!
