10 ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Facts Un-Classified for Level 7 Clearance
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. successfully brought the MCU to the small-screen, but did you know that the Avengers-adjacent series shares DNA with both Skyfall and Mission: Impossible? That’s just one piece of Level 7 intel from the 14th episode of ‘You Think You Know TV?,’ which assembles its own Marvel-ous team for ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.!
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. may have pulled some strings in returning Clark Gregg’s Phil Coulson to the fold after the events of The Avengers, though the series itself draws back as far as 1967 in its influence, back in the days when Stark Industries regularly supplied S.H.I.E.L.D. with flying cars. Not only that, but the cast reaches way out into the cosmos, as both Season 2 additions Adrianne Palicki and Brian Patrick Wade auditioned for Guardians of the Galaxy.
‘You Think You Know TV?’ is a ScreenCrush original series that dives deep into the worlds of your favorite TV series and freeze frames a few tidbits you might not have known, as with our other installments for Breaking Bad, True Detective, Empire, The Simpsons, Hannibal, Star Wars Rebels, Better Call Saul, The X-Files, The Flash, Arrow, Mad Men, The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones. Our companion series ‘You Think You Know Movies?’ has already tackled everything from Star Wars to The Dark Knight Rises to Magic Mike, but now it’s time to plunder the Triskelion for some secret (but not Hydra secret) intel on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.!
