‘Jessica Jones’ Doesn’t Give a Damn About Her Reputation in Violent New Teaser
Marvel’s Jessica Jones gave us a clever tease of our new Netflix hero by its first preview footage, and now the second Defender gets even more pulverizing by the latest. Crank up the Joan Jett, Jessica Jones is knocking back shots and knocking back bars by her latest brawl.
Unlikely to be actual footage (what, with a second teaser eschewing Krysten Ritter’s face), our latest Jessica Jones teaser nonetheless sends a strong message in more ways than one, picking up the aftermath of a barroom brawl with the super-strong private-eye. The time also notes 7:54 P.M., compared with the past teaser’s 3:00 P.M., which suggests a rough morning in either direction.
So reads Marvel’s official Jessica Jones synopsis:
After a tragic ending to her short-lived super hero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases involving people with extraordinary abilities in New York City.
Premiering all 13 episodes on November 20, Marvel’s Jessica Jones features Kristen Ritter in the title role, along with Mike Colter as Luke Cage, David Tennant as Zebediah Kilgrave, Rachael Taylor as Patsy “Hellcat” Walker, and Carrie-Ann Moss as the mysterious “Harper”. Run creatively by Melissa Rosenberg, the series also features in recurring roles Eka Darville as Jessica’s neighbor, Erin Moriarty as a client, and Wil Traval as a police officer, while Rosario Dawson has been confirmed to reprise her role as Claire Temple.
Marvel’s Jessica Jones will also make its presence known at New York Comic-Con, but take in the latest photos and teasers below, and stay tuned for more from the November 20 premiere!
