The third season of Netflix’s Orange is the New Black left Litchfield on a quietly ominous note, that for all the unexpected beach days, a busload of new prisoners would join the rapidly-filling halls. Things seem to have taken a turn for the worse by Season 4, as overcrowding and some harsh new guards take the first 2016 Orange is the New Black trailer in a decidedly dark direction.

In addition to the influx of new inmates cramming Litchfield ladies like sardines, drama and violence seem to be lurking around every turn for the new season. Perhaps more ominous, Laura Prepon’s Alex is nowhere to be found in the new footage, despite showing up in the previous round of photos unharmed.

Already renewed for three additional seasons, Orange is the New Black Season 4 is set to premiere on June 17, with Laura Prepon (obviously) confirmed to return from her ambiguous last moments as Alex, along with Season 3 guest star Blair Brown, while Mad Men alum Matthew Weiner will direct an episode.

In the meantime, check out the photos again above, and teaser below, and stay tuned for more on Orange is the New Black Season 4’s June 17 premiere.
