A few superhero series premieres have come and gone in recent weeks, though we haven't felt nearly as excited by them as for the 'Arrow' season 3 premiere next Wednesday, as a renewed Oliver faces "The Calm" before an inevitable storm. Our first full clip from next week's premiere has arrived in the meantime, and Olicity goodness is well in the air amid some thrilling vigilante heroics.

Via The Hollywood Reporter, the first full clip from 'Arrow''s season 3 premiere "The Calm" sees our heroes in some familiar, yet not-so familiar circumstances, as Felicity navigates Oliver through his latest criminal pursuit, albeit from her new retail tech job. Oliver lightens the mood with some banter on their upcoming date, but things turn a bit dark when poor Detective (Captain?) Lance can barely aid in the pursuit given his continued poor health.

Meanwhile, here’s how The CW describes ‘Arrow’ season 3:

In the aftermath of victory, Season Three opens with Arrow now a hero to the citizens of Starling. Crime is down, people feel safer, and Captain Lance even calls off the Anti-Vigilante Task Force. Basking in his success, Oliver believes he can finally have a private life and asks Felicity out on a date. But the second Oliver takes his eye off the ball, a deadly villain reappears in Starling, forcing Oliver to realize that he can never be Oliver Queen – not as long as the city needs The Arrow.

Additionally, 'Real Steel’ star Karl Yune will play Oliver’s flashback Hong Kong handler alongside Rila Fukushima as DC's Katana, having replaced Devon Aoki. Departed series stars Caity Lotz and Colin Donnell will also return for early episodes this season, and we've also got our first full look at Colton Haynes' costume in his new vigilante persona of "Arsenal," in addition to the latest premiere photos from season 3 opener, "The Calm."

Behold, our first clip from 'Arrow' season 3 premiere "The Calm" above, and stay tuned for the latest from The CW's hit DC drama!
