Disney may be having itself quite a weekend, but another corner of the empire will start to pull focus in 2016, as Marvel fans gear up for Captain America: Civil War. 2016 will also mark the 75th anniversary of the character, for which ABC has drafted an hour-long Cap special to air just before the Season 2 premiere of his best gal, Agent Carter.

Airing Tuesday, January 19 at 8:00 P.M., before the two-hour premiere of Marvel’s Agent Carter Season 2, so reads the comic empire’s official description for Marvel’s Captain America: 75 Heroic Years:

This special one-hour event follows the history of Captain America from 1941 to present and explores how the character has been a reflection of the changing times and the world he has existed in throughout the years. Fans will hear from various Marvel luminaries including Stan Lee, Joe Quesada, Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Jeph Loeb, Louis D’Esposito, Chris Evans and Hayley Atwell, as well as family members of Cap’s creators. “Marvel’s Captain America: 75 Heroic Years” will also unveil an exclusive announcement from Marvel comics.

It wouldn’t be unreasonable to expect some Civil War teases while we’re at it, just as a prior special in 2014 gave Avengers fans their first look at concept art for Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, and even the Hulkbuster armor. Still, the report does mention an exclusive announcement from Marvel comics, which might point to something for the books, rather than the movies.

Captain America: Civil War will arrive on May 6, and don’t forget to check out the Agent Carter Season 2 premiere after the January 19 anniversary special!
