The extensive cast of Netflix’s Orange is the New Black has given way to a bit of turnover here and there, as Laura Prepon largely sat out the second season, while Pablo Schreiber exited before the upcoming third. Now, the ladies of Litchfield are down another man, as Jason Biggs won’t return to for Orange is the New Black Season 3.

The New York Daily News broke the story (now confirmed by Variety), in which Biggs told the newspaper “They’re not focusing on Larry at the moment. Larry will not be in Season 3, but there’s always a possibility he can come back.” Biggs had acted as a regular since the prison dramedy’s beginning, portraying Piper (Taylor Schilling)’s fiancee (then ex) Larry Bloom.

Elsewhere of Season 3, we know that Justified star Mary Steenburgen will appear as Mendez’s mother, alongside fellow season 3 additions Ruby Rose, Mike Birbiglia, Fringe star Blair Brown and returning Lori Petty. Yael Stone (Morello) has been upgraded to series regular, joining Dascha Polenko (Daya), Samira Wiley (Poussey), Selenis Leyva (Gloria), Nick Sandow (Joe Caputo) and Adrienne C. Moore (Black Cindy). Laura Prepon too will return full-time, appearing in every Season 3 episode.

The majority of Orange is the New Black fandom won’t lose any sleep over Larry’s absence this season, which itself is expected to premiere on Netflix this coming June. Who else might leave the cast this season, we wonder?
