'Flash' Reunites With Jay Garrick in New 'Paradox' Photos

Flash Season 2 spent so much time on its Zoom and iron-masked mysteries, it’s a relief Season 3 keeps more out in the open. Catch a first look at the real Jay Garrick’s speedy return in new “Paradox” photos, along with a closer look at Harry Potter star Tom Felton.

The CW released the first photos from October 11 outing “Paradox,” set to follow next Tuesday’s “Flashpoint” premiere. In it, Barry reconnects with his Earth-whatever dad Jay Garrick and meets new lab partner Julian Dorn (Felton), while Iris and Joe have a tense face-off.

So reads the synopsis:

THE AFTERMATH — Barry (Grant Gustin) realizes the effects from Flashpoint are much greater than he thought. Meanwhile, Barry meets new co-worker Julian Albert (Tom Felton) and is surprised by Julian’s immediate disdain for Barry.

So far of The Flash Season 3, we know Harry Potter star Tom Felton has signed on as a series regular, while Tom Cavanagh has confirmed his return, along with Violett Beane as his daughter Jesse. John Wesley Shipp will also return as the Earth-3 Jay Garrick, joining new additions Grey Damon as Mirror Master, Ashley Rickards as The Top, Joey King as Magenta and Saw big bad Tobin Bell voicing Dr. Alchemy. Keiynan Lonsdale also has his own Kid Flash costume in the new timeline, while Kevin Smith has been confirmed to direct the seventh hour, and two episodes will take us to Gorilla City.
