Last week amid the chaos of network Upfront announcements, 'True Blood' season 6 dropped on us a heaping helping of photos from the new season spurting out on June 16. The photos gave us our best look yet at the HBO vampire soap's sixth season, but in the case of the season's newest poster, less is clearly more. Check out the full 'True Blood' season 6 poster inside!

We've heard that 'True Blood's' sixth season will get pretty, well, bloody for the principle cast, and the latest poster from HBO wants us to know that they mean business. Featuring an unidentified vampire grimacing in the center, the poster's tagline reminds us amid a sea of red that "no one lives forever."

'True Blood' season 6 features a showrunner change from Mark Hudis to Bryan Buckner, season 5 guest star and former ‘Last Resort’ star Robert Patrick has been upgraded to series regular, while ‘True Blood’ season 6 also features the return of Anna Camp‘s Sarah Newlin, Luke Grimes as the “Jim Morrison of vampires,” ‘House‘s’ Karolina Wydra, Rutger Hauer as mysterious vampire Macklyn, ‘Rubicon’s’ Arliss Howard as  Louisiana Governor Truman Burrell, and ‘Eastenders’ star Robert Kazinsky as a series regular and new Fae love interest to Sookie.

Premiering June 26, True Blood’ season 6 will take place over 10 episodes, down from the usual 12, largely to accommodate series star Anna Paquin’s pregnancy with co-star Stephen Moyer.

Take a look at the bloody new poster for 'True Blood' season 6 below, and give us your predictions for the new season in the comments!
