Game of Thrones Season 6 has spent so much time stirring speculation of Jon Snow and other characters closest to the action, we forget about those off on their own in the world of Westeros. Case in point, catch up with Sam and Gilly in yet another new clip from the coming sixth season!

Poor Sam had the misfortune to leave his best buddy Jon just before the Night’s Watch mutineers seized an opportunity to off their leader, but Sam is feeling queasy for different reasons on the journey to Oldtown. John Bradley brought the clip to Conan last night, also expanding Gilly’s horizons a bit, while we’ll have to wait a bit longer to meet Sam’s family.

So reads the Season 6 premiere synopsis for “The Red Woman”:

Jon Snow is dead. Daenerys meets a strong man. Cersei sees her daughter again.

And the overall Season 6 logline:

Following the shocking developments at the conclusion of season five, including Jon Snow’s bloody fate at the hands of Castle Black mutineers, Daenerys’ near-demise at the fighting pits of Meereen, and Cersei’s public humiliation in the streets of King’s Landing, survivors from all parts of Westeros and Essos regroup to press forward, inexorably, towards their uncertain individual fates. Familiar faces will forge new alliances to bolster their strategic chances at survival, while new characters will emerge to challenge the balance of power in the east, west, north and south.

In the meantime, check out the latest on the Game of Thrones Season 6 with trailers below, and stay tuned for the April 24 premiere!
