'American Horror Story: Hotel' Returns 'Freak' Finn Wittrock

American Horror Story will likely open more than a few Hotel doors with its Comic-Con 2015 appearance, but fans needn’t wait for the latest Freak Show in store. Joining several other alum, Finn Wittrock is the latest to check into American Horror Story: Hotel, and might find himself in yet another bloody romp with Matt Bomer.

Announcement of Wittrock’s casting arrived from ~~deep within the Earth’s core~~ Ryan Murphy’s Twitter feed (for a change), teasing that Wittrock’s character may end up in competition with Bomer’s for the heart of series newcomer Lady Gaga:

Following the latest addition of New Girl star Max Greenfield, the Hotel cast thus far includes Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, returning Coven alum Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Asylum star Chloe Sevigny, Freak Show guest Wes Bentley and Cheyenne Jackson. FX boss John Landgraf described American Horror Story Season 5 as an “unusually large reinvention” of the series, while Jessica Lange confirmed her exit, and series star Denis O’Hare has given an optimistic outlook on appearances.

Season 5 production on American Horror Story: Hotel will commence in California later this summer, but what other surprises lie in store for the remaining cast announcements? Will we learn much more at Comic-Con?
