Oh Good, The Insane ‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ Teasers Have Started

FX bosses may have billed American Horror Story: Hotel as a light reinvention of the series, especially with Jessica Lange no longer front and center, but the return of Ryan Murphy’s famously psycho teasers feels perfectly familiar. There’s a guy with no eyes, and maybe even some Gaga in the latest two sneak peeks!

Courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, the latest promo spot for American Horror Story: Hotel  bangs down your door, but oh no! The guy has no eyes! 2Spooky! After that, there’s someone writhing around in bed, and getting choked! Maybe Lady Gaga is singing? Lock your doors, everyone!

Elsewhere, the Hotel cast thus far includes Max Greenfield, Cheyenne Jackson and Lady Gaga, returning Coven alum Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Asylum star Chloe Sevigny, Freak Show guests Finn Wittrock, Matt Bomer and Wes Bentley, and franchise regulars Lily Rabe, Denis O’Hare, Evan Peters and Sara Paulson. FX boss John Landgraf described American Horror Story Season 5 as an “unusually large reinvention” of the series, while Jessica Lange confirmed her exit, but remains open to appearances in future seasons.

Season 5 will premiere on October 7, but what can we make of the latest looks at American Horror Story: Hotel?
